“February 5, 2020 I felt my world come crashing down as I watched the woman who gave me life take her last breath. Then March 2020 the world shut down because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I began working from home and was very depressed and sedentary. The day after the 1 year anniversary of my Mom’s passing, I got on the scale and it read 216lbs. I had never weighed that much in my life. I was wearing a size 16 pants and 1X shirt. I felt sluggish and my body felt horrible. I decided to begin to make changes. I began counting calories to monitor my food intake. In April 2021 I came to Seattle to visit my sister. She introduced me to Janene.
We met up at the gym 3 or 4 times that week and then I flew back home. It didn’t take me long to realize I wanted to begin working out more consistently but I didn’t feel comfortable at the gym and I had no idea where to begin at home. I began training with Janene virtually as I live in Michigan. I had no idea the impact she would have on my life as I began this journey with her. It has been 9 months that I have been training with her virtually and I have lost 67lbs and I have more muscle than I have ever had! She is more than just a trainer, she is a friend and a life/health coach. She’s definitely stuck with me for awhile.”
